ANYWAYS Idiyuu is Hades and Persephone conspiracy:

Persephone is not from the Underworld. She is called back to the Mortal Realm eventually because she has to return. Yuu is literally from another world. They are not suited to Twisted Wonderland, and are nothing like Idia has ever seen. They have to go back eventually.

Hades is probably one of the few TWST boys to have a “canon” spouse (at least in Greek mythology, which Hercules’ Hades is obviously based on). On top of that, Hades and Persephone is the love story between death and life, isolation and abundance, ending and rebirth. Idia is a gloomy, pessimistic boy who has been condemned to be the keeper of the Underworld. Yuu is a kind, gentle prefect who has been there to help and has helped everyone they know, again and again. 

Night Raven College has been in a ‘winter’ for all of its history. Everyone is hostile to everyone, no one wants to cooperate or work together, and every single person there has some ulterior motive. In comes Yuu, who is a breath of fresh air. A new perspective. A new season. They bring ‘spring,’ showing people that they can bloom. They can harbor feelings that aren’t cruel. They can do things that aren’t harsh. And slowly, they start to thaw. Flowers of friendship and something gentler bloom. Yuu is there to help pull the boys from their darkest moments to see the light again. Idia is no exception.

I think that the way Book 6 was set up makes Idia and Yuu seem a lot more meaningful honestly, though I'm probably reading way too into things lol. Yuu originally goes to the Island of Woe to save Grim. They don’t particularly care much about what’s going on with Idia—they just want to get Grim back. But then later, once they realize what’s going on, they do. There isn’t much, if any, personal connection to Idia’s overblot like there was with all the others. Yuu doesn’t have to do anything to help. And yet, they still do. Even after Idia basically kidnapped Grim, they still help him. They still try to end his winter.

Persephone, in many forms of the myth, didn't originally go to the Underworld willingly. But eventually, she came to love Hades, and they were happy together. Idia and Yuu have no reason to care about the other at first. But they eventually do, after everything that happens and everything that brings them together.

Hades and Persephone are in a constant push and pull. Persephone has to leave because if she stays, winter will never end. She does not want to leave, because she loves Hades. Yuu has to leave Twisted Wonderland, because they have a home beyond it that they need to return to. And yet, they don't want to leave because they love Idia. Idia doesn't want them to go, because it finally feels like spring again. But the seasons have to continue in their cycle, so what can they do?

Also, I think it’s really funny and really beautiful how Idia and Yuu’s first meeting was probably the Ghost Marriage event. This guy who thinks he has 0 rizz ends up having to be saved by some strange new isekai'd student and their gang of potential suitors before he gets his first kiss and promptly dies afterwards. Idia, the boy surrounded by death, is saved by the prefect who seems to be giving everyone a new chance at life. Imagine how poetic it’d be if Yuu and Idia end up getting married in the end, except now neither of them are going to die and they have the rest of their new lives together. There will be winter, but there will also be spring. The cycle of seasons will continue, but flowers will always bloom. They will always return to each other.

i swear sometimes i think people forget that Jon's s1 skeptic act was just that—an act. it was an act!!! he believes the statements!! he's believed them since episode one! do we so soon forget that he denied the statements were real because he knew the Eye something wanted him to be scared, and he knew that was bad, so he decided to act like the statements just didn't scare him? remember, he was working with extremely limited information ("when i record the tape statements, i feel watched, like something knows i'm afraid, and i don't want it to know that"), and came up with a genuinely solid solution with what he had! not his fault that the thing watching him was a literal unknowable eldritch entity that feeds on fear, and he was just some underqualified archivist.

tbh i would kill for a sh2 au where mary murders james instead. she's still terminally ill but spirals very soon after her diagnosis before she becomes bedridden (oftentimes people with cancer, assuming that is what she has, do not feel sick initially, and are able to continue to function normally for a time) and like, kills him out of jealousy that she's dying and he gets to live+resentment toward him...in all likelihood treating her like shit as soon as he finds out about said diagnosis, and then she goes to silent hill to commit suicide with james' body in the back of her car and goes through her own personal hell journey confronting both her guilt and the terror she would inevitably feel around her illness

in the end she either accepts responsibility for her actions, makes peace with her impending death and chooses to make the best of the time she has left, or she goes through with the murder-suicide plan a la "in water" in order to escape the guilt and the pain she knows she's about to go through and to "be with" james

i just genuinely think a SH story about someone grappling with their own immediate mortality would be really fucking interesting- as it presents a lot of even darker questions that, unlike with james' predicament, there really are no right or wrong answers to. to accept things as they are and just let it play out, or wrest back control in the only way you can? it's entirely a personal choice

also it goes without saying that there's a yassified version of james in place of maria who has hollywood abs and runs around in dangerously tight leather pants. don't know if i can actually justify that in any way, but it's only fair

I LOVE DOG CODED CROSS TOO! I always see him as that dog that survived so much and now that he can rest and receive affection, he doesn't know how to let his guard down, how to know which hand will be gentle and which will be aggressive. I like his silly side too, but THIS side, he's just very special to me.

Losing my mind rn. Cross to me has neglected shelter dog rizz, he just wants to sit on the couch and watch tv with someone. Is that too much for him to ask. (Also this is going to be all over the place, me just throwing thoughts out there to see what sticks. Also me talking about this can be taken romantic or platonic routes, I don't mind how anyone sees it. Also throwing in a bit of weapon coded Cross in there as a treat.)

I love the concept of feral dog coded turning into guard dog coded. Like Cross has been through so much, I think he deserves to bite people. As a treat.

I know Cross has canon fangs, but I also like to imagine he has claws too. Just I want him to be sharp. Also this is OOC, but I don't care I'm having fun.

I imagine Cross has a very specific type of fear he shows, it's the equivalent of a cornered pray animal that has nowhere to go and nothing to do but fight for his life.

Given all that has happened to him, especially later on into his life, him becoming like a fighting dog to protect himself. Being alert and lashing, snarling, clawing at anything that moves too quickly or is too loud. Not even trusting those who approach slowly and quietly, seeing them as people who want something from him or assuming they only want to get close to him to hurt him. Which leads him to especially snap at those people, wanting to hurt those that get too close.

He's basically become a walking weapon, something sharp that stabs and slashes, tears and scratches. Now wondering around without anyone to wield him as a weapon. Now having no use, no purpose.

(me talking about a build up of someone trying to get to know Cross)

Him not knowing why someone would approach him, being so confused when they don't make an effort to come too close, the other quietly sitting down a bit away from him trying to show they're not a threat, while also giving Cross his space. Cross not liking this and walking away every time, but this other person is persistent.

The other slowly starting to talk after the first few times in a soft tone, telling Cross about themselves, not worrying if Cross is even listening. Just wanting him to get used to their voice and company.

After a while the other starts to give Cross little offerings, such as food or ways to entertain him, trying to inch Cross closer with each coming day. Cross would lash out at these gifts at first, thinking they'd expect something in return, or seeing these gifts as a threat, like what happens if the food is poisoned, he wasn't about to take that chance. Him lashing out throwing things back, snarling and hissing. Him even daring to get close enough to try to take a swipe at the other. But after the other offers him chocolate he just can't resist but have it. Slowly opening up to the idea of their gifts.

Asking the other what the point of all this is. And the other just smiling at him. Looking at him like he means something to the world again. And he wants to cry, he wants to scream and lash out. But all he can do is stare back for a few seconds before fleeing away. The look scaring him half to death. How can someone look at him like that. With so much kindness, no malice, don't they know the things he's done, he's tried to hurt them. And yet they still looked at him like that.

After a while of this back and forth of spending time with Cross and giving him things now and then Cross will start to sit closer, just over an arm's length away, shooting the other unsure glances always having his body angled in such a way he can defend himself if needed.

The other person one day lifting and offering their hand to Cross. Doing a little bit too quickly for Cross's taste leading to him lashing out at the hand, digging his claws into their wrist and latching his teeth onto the hand.

Which 100% would lead into the story you wrote of Cross biting. (I love that short story sm, once I found it I couldn't stop going back and reading it over and over again).

Him now realizing he may have someone he can trust, he's hurt them a lot and yet they've continued to work with him. Him now realizing he can at least trust their touch, even if its only for short periods of time. Them always offering up their hand and him always reluctantly shoving his head into their palm, closing his eyes tight and nuzzling, sometimes a light whine coming from him. Always nuzzling the hand, the hand that now has a permanent mark of his worry and anger. But the other always uses their thumb to softly rub his cheek to comfort him.

It would take him a while to get closer than the arm's length, only being able to do it minutes at a time any longer, and he'd start to panic, still being unsure on letting himself fully trust the other.

Just him not being able to process any of the kindness given to him. It's something now foreign to him, he still has his moments where he gets too anxiety ridden and lashes, but he's quick to back himself up to shoot the other sympathetic glances and whines.

Then one day it's like a switch got flipped in his head, he's quick to approach the other on their next visit to him, waiting for them to sit before he sits next to them then suddenly leans his head on them, shoving himself into them in an effort to get any sort of attention, either it be positive or negative, he didn't care at that moment in time.

He doesn't know what to think of this feeling, but also doesn't want it to go. Unsure if all of it will be taken away from him. But then quickly realizing he doesn't want this feeling to go, so clings and claws at the other in a desperate attempt to get them to stay.

A sort of 'bite the hand that feeds' sort of situation as he is still unsure on what any of it means so cannot process the kindness given to him as kindness. He's still partly stuck in the mindset that the other must want something. But all the other does is softly pet the back of his skull, quietly talking to him, trying to comfort him. Something in him breaks, and he becomes a sobbing mess. shuddering and whining. Being physically unable to control his emotions, now understanding the other is here for him not for anything else.

The other has dedicated so much time to befriending Cross that they now have a very loyal guard dog that wants to go everywhere with them, always at their side like a thorn in skin.

He's devoted to them, and craves any sort of praise or physical affection from them. Despite all the work put into him, there's still such a long way to go with him. He will still sometimes go on edge when the other moves too quickly. Or he's too nervous to get attention most of the time out of fear of upsetting them or coming across as too needy.

Seems like the type of guy to shake/shiver if the other was to touch him, either it be out of anticipation of waiting for the other to hurt him in some way, or finally getting the softness and validation he craves. Him quietly hanging out in the same room as the other person, giving them side glaces. Wanting to approach but being unsure, but deciding a possible reward outweighs the risk and just walking over looking like a kicked puppy. Settling himself down next to the other and resting his head on them eyes closes, praying that he will receive a soft touch rather than a hit.

I'd also like to think, despite all the trust and work, he will always still bite and scratch, but it won't nearly be as bad, more so a warning nip of his teeth, a light warning telling the other how fragile this trust is.

Cross now finding a purpose with this person, even if he sees his purpose in an unhealthy light, seeing himself as a weapon for this person to use as they please. He will always need work and praise, he will always need someone to tell him he isn't a weapon.

On the train of your last ask, what are your thoughts on dragons sexuality?

Personally I think he’s Demi something (more attracted to personality than looks or gender)

Honestly because we don't know that much about the guy it's kind of hard for me to form an opinion, and if Crocodad Real then we're going to find out his orientation eventually (since we gotta find out if that was a contributing factor to the Dragodile Divorce (assuming they're divorced)) so I'm kind of okay with not forming any headcanons, since the headcanon could get thrown out the window

If anything, what interests me is how Dragon's orientation could impact the story-- like when I've discussed the Dragodile Divorce I have mainly focused on speculating how Crocodile would've felt about it, but how Dragon felt about that is interesting too

Because if he's straight then yeah that probably contributed to The Divorce, but how did Dragon feel about it? Learning that the love of his life is now happier than ever before after transitioning and being happy for him, while also losing the version of Crocodile that he fallen in love to begin with? No longer feeling thet draw to him because of the thing that has brought him so much joy and comfort? Knowing that even if they did take down the WG the family Dragon had hoped to have would never come to be, because their relationship would now end? And that it would be on some level his fault, because he's not attracted to Crocodile anymore?

Like even if Dragon took things well and the divorce happened "on good terms", it would've been sad for Dragon too.

But then there's a slightly juicier option, because what if Dragon was bi, but the Divorce happened under unpleasant circumstances (be it Dragon lashing out or things getting violent because he couldn't recognize Crocodile) and he didn't figure it out until it was too late?

Because you'd still have Dragon going through some if not all of those previously mentioned feelings, of having to come to terms with the version of his significant other whom he had fallen in love with no longer existed, the family had pictured in his mind would never become a thing, that those things were be kind of his fault and that he had hurt Crocodile deeply in the process. But then he'd be looking at some news article of Crocodile's most recent heroic stunt, seeing his handsome face with that usual, unbothered expression, and realizing he still loved him? That he still wanted to be with him, wished they were together, even now that Crocodile was a far more handsome man than he was? And then the realization that he's bi hitting him like a fucking truck But it's too late. The divorce already happened. He already hurt Crocodile too deeply. Knowing Croc, he had probably already moved on. There was no fixing it, the relationship was over. At least for now, trying to go see Croc could be dangerous due to the WG and not wanting to risk the WG finding out about them and The Kid and Croc would probably be furious if Dragon even risked that at this point, after what he had done. Oh, and then Crocodile killed thousands of innocent people attempting to usurp a country by manufacturing a civil war. Something Dragon can't forgive. (Not to mention, hearing he had been taken down by their own son... Oof)

But what if despite all that, and not knowing the full circumstances behind what had happened (like the fact that Crocodile didn't know who the hell Luffy was), Dragon still loved Crocodile? What then?

... You know suddenly the fact that Raven had a decoy Maiden is suddenly in question if that was for her sake. Because Ozpin who Raven does not trust in the slightest has to know the details of her semblance. And so would Summer, suspected to be with Salem. Putting aside the question of whether either would - the fact that threatening Yang would get a highly elusive and hard to catch Spring Maiden to show her face wasn't known for over a decade. And relevant with the Relics of knowledge locked.

Okay I'm suddenly chewing this because Raven gets super mad at Ozpin for "What he did to [Qrow] and me" - and if you're right they are secondary keys Raven would have reason to be absolutely pissed upon finding out if Oz didn't say that at the time. Her semblance would make that a walking hostage crisis to anyone that can't defend themselves. And she runs specifically after Yang, someone who had no choice in the matter was born. (If she found out after Yang was born... No wonder she despised Oz) This also adds another layer to that talk in front of the Spring Vault if Raven burned her relationship with Yang to the ground to sell the lie she didn't care. Then with the weight of one of possible two locks off her back, the burnt/never built bridge that she can't talk Yang down because no trust after years of silence. Yang with one arm gone, already permanently harmed from the shadow war. Years of silence, Vernal dead and burned relationships all for naught ... Also if you're right about Raven being drawn into a trap by a threat to Yang - the parallels with how the audience first knowingly saw her. (And it lines up with how we saw her for the first time at least symbolically watching Yang as a bird)

what i find especially interesting is that, well, qrow knows what raven's semblance is. how it works. yet to him, raven acts like yang doesn't even exist, and most of the time he's always assuming the worst of raven.

but the thing is, raven cares, so her pulling this act that she doesn't is like... there's gotta be a reason for it, and kindred link being what it is fits perfectly.

and THEN. raven, with one simple, awkward question, makes it clear to summer that she cares. of course at the time it wouldn't have been necessary to hide the fact, but in hindsight, with summer working with salem, it's um. uh-oh, mistakes were made.

the main question as far as setting a trap goes is the reason for it. if the branwens are part of the solution to finding the crown, that could be one—assuming raven is still reluctant to cooperate. other option is that there really is just that much bad blood between summer and raven that it is Personal™ ("so you can believe when i say this wasn't personal" raven tells yang in the vault and oh boi if that gets told to yang by summer as well) that summer would set up an ambush just because. i'm leaning more towards the "cooperation" angle but the latter would be funny (to me) bc of cinder agreeing to change the haven plan solely to get a shot at ruby. time is a circle and no one is escaping from it (yet).

How about Rosepetal for the genetics game(?)

Rosepetal's canon color is dark cream.

Her parents are Daisy and Spiderleg. Daisy is a tortoiseshell (so she can have black-based sons such as Mousewhisker and Toadstep), Spiderleg is black.

Which means Rosepetal can't be simply red-based. So i turned her into a pointed cat instead to make her color creamy. Icecloud already had the allele, Berrynose has it too, so it's in the family on both sides.

But i'll be honest: I haven't decided on base color yet, only that it's solid and no white. I was thinking blue tortie originally, but when you search for "dark cream cat", literally the second one is black point...

Is this dark cream? Debatable. But it's prettyyy...

Airplanes VS Aeroships: A Comparison

Hey folks, and happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! Consider this a follow up this post, made in a response to two questions by @pixelazer :

How big the speed gap between fixed-wing types and airships is in your setting, and what sort of aircraft see use?

Performance Gaps

The answer I gave in the last post was definitely an oversimplification. The real answer probably changes depending on what period in the setting you'd refer to. The earliest fixed wing aircraft, biplanes and the like, were generally not much faster than an aeroship designed with speed in mind, but could comfortably out pace the largest, most lumbering examples of such craft. The development of more powerful engines, culminating eventually with the invention of jet propulsion, would significantly widen the gap between high performance aircraft and aeroships.

To put it in more obvious terms, you could compare aeroships to our world's helicopters, and the latter's relative performance compared to modern jets. An important factor that has shape aeroship design through the ages is how they manouevre; modern aeroships typically don't use control surfaces, instead relying on impulse thrusters across their hull which allow them to adjust their positions even while simply 'levitating'. While they allow incredibly precise movements, they quickly lose effectiveness at higher speeds. The blocky and bulbous hull forms of aeroships, needed to accommodate their Aerium crystals and associated equipment, are also not kind to high speeds.

All that said, I can't really answer the question with a firm answer. If you really tried, you could probably make an aeroship that goes faster than a given fixed wing. The main reason for this general divide is that characteristics like cost, lifting capacity, and others have nudged craft of either type into specific niches which favour varying degrees of speed; you could probably make an aeroship go supersonic, but if you have a need for something to go supersonic, you're better off going fixed wing.

2. Sorts of Aircraft

If I'm reading this correctly, my usual answer for this sort of question is 'anything that currently exists in real life', mostly because I lack the in depth knowledge in the field needed to list every possible aircraft in existence and the roles they fill. I mean, part of my approach in the 12 Worlds is to show that is in whole a genuinely 'believable' Setting, which means acknowledging the existence of a thousand and one things that would logically exist even if I never pay much attention to it. Crop dusters, medical evacuation aircraft, search and rescue, etc., if it's the sort of thing that 'should' exist it probably does. Which feels like a lazy answer, but it's the truth.

Bonus Stuff;

All this comparing of aeroships and fixed wing craft reminds me of a few details I've had in mind for a while, on the backburner. Basically, there have at various times been attempts to incorporate Aerium and its associated technologies in 'fixed wing' platforms, or lifting surfaces on aeroships, in order to get the best of both worlds. Most of these tended to fizzle out, but the development of highly sensitive and precise avionics seems poised to shake things up. Test beds of fixed wing aircraft incorporating miniaturised Aerium crystals across their bodies have successfully shown how the lifting output of each crystal can be altered in real time, allowing for the craft's overall lift to be increased without impeding responsiveness. Where these developments might lead is a question for the future.

I don't get the discourse around supporting Tumblr.

Like if you give money to Tumblr you are supporting all of their bad decisions!!!

Okay, but then how do they keep the site alive? Ads? How many people are clicking on ads here? Tumblr hasn't been scraping every tiny piece of data they can get to sell it like Facebook does either. Should they start doing that? Or should they sell more ad space even though they're already known to be a site that isn't all the great for advertisers.

This is the only two routes I can think of for attempting to stay sustainable without the use of getting money directly from their users.

Someone's gotta pay to maintain this site and also pay all employees working to do so. This isn't a one man job you need a whole team for this. Tumblr costs quite a bit to maintain.

Is it wrong to pay for an online service you frequently use? I mean, let's imagine every Tumblr user magically unite to protest against all the changes to Tumblr they disagree with by making sure Tumblr gets no financial support. What would happen? Who is paying Tumblr's staff to listen to the demands of its community? Does anyone know how long that could take? Would that really save the site or would that send it straight to its doom?

To change topic a bit. Is financially supporting a company indicative of you agreeing with what they are doing? Is it not entirely possoble to critique a company in spite of your support? There's still things like review bombing and disrupting customer service. Besides, without being a paying customer you wouldn't have much of anything to threaten Tumblr with. If majority of the userbased was supporting with money it would be very scary for Tumblr if a ton of people really pulled out.

I don't know it just seems to me that people want to protest to Tumblr staff by just....doing nothing and continueing to use Tumblr. What does that do??? Do YOU want to become the product??? Tumblr could axe Tumblr Live right now all of those people complaining wouldn't give Tumblr a dime for it. These devs are fairly communicative. They have several blogs dedicated to development, there's devs with their own blogs who respond to the community and even post surveys for suggestions to other staff, they did a Q&A in Tumblr Live (annoyingly), and have been fairly transparent in clearly communicating their plans while keeping it very open to criticism.

I can't really say that about many other companies. Tumblr staff gives its users SO MANY avenues to communicate. It's almost too open. The staff can get harassed very easily (I'm sure some do). Are the people complaining about this site not using these avenues to get staff's attention? I don't see how not giving them money will get their attention. If anything it would make them more desparate to get money from us through other means than something as inoffensive as merch.

This is a website that you are using. Is it wrong to compensate those maintaining/providing this service as you use it? If it is wrong, then what are the alternatives? Am I just stupid am I missing something?

The basic gist of it is that I swapped the dragons and their captains, so Laurence is Temeraire's yellow reaper, Granby is Iskierka's Kazilik, Little is Immortalis' Regal Copper/Yellow Reaper mix, Catherine is Lily's Longwing & so on and so forth.

To keep the China Drama TM I have made the celestials and imperials into the Royals, and made Mianning & Co into Celestials, so Tem is part of the royal family but he disappeared and Laurence found him and took care of him therefore making him an aviator. So the Chinese Crown sees Laurence as an unfit dragon for Temeraire to have due to how common he is.

Iskierka starts off as Tem's first Lt, but she hasn't been an aviator her whole life like Granby was, and is instead a newer aviator while he is the one who's been there his whole life, they have a hater arc with each other similar to Granby and Laurence but once she gets Granby (still from the exchange between istanbul and england) they're close and have a mutual respect for one another, a kind of??? Hater-y friendship where they tease each other n stuff but you can tell they're besties. Granby still loses his arm but he's. A dragon so it's a bit different (I have plans for how that happens lol). Ning still exists but she's Tem and Iskierka's human child :) Iskierka is exactly one inch taller than Temeraire and he Hates it.

Tharkay in this is an Osprey but he can talk idk LOL besties w Granby and Laurence dragons <3

Immortalis in this is a senior captain who's been in the service for ages, Little is a younger dragon, Immortalis adores him more than anything in the whole world. He has scars all over his body and prominent ones on his face to represnt his markings as a dragon. He's really close with Iskierka!! She sees him as a cool older figure and he's the only captain who can really tolerate her for a while.

hello 👋, I've read your toh fics and they're rather, but I did want to know what about the third caused you to like camila?

In Season 1, Camila effectively appears twice; we get one episode of her being awful to Luz, and one episode about Luz's perception of her where it's shown her actions have made her rejection Luz's greatest fear. In Season 2, we got one more episode with her, which while it did soften me on her somewhat, also had a narrative that felt like it was saying Luz was wrong to run away, and had the promise, which felt pretty awful and manipulative. So I went into Season 3 worried that they were going to come down further on the idea that Camila was in the right.

Instead, she became my favourite character in the entire show.

Over the first special alone, we saw Camila realising and struggling with what she'd done, to the point she was having nightmares about what she did. She's a perfect mom, because she's not perfect. She made a painful mistake for an incredibly human reason and she made it right again and I love her for it.

Do you have any good comebacks when someone tries to question the possibility of happy fulfilling life as non partnering aroace.

as a non-partnering aroace, i've seen a couple good analogies about how while some things make some people happy, the opposite could be true for others. i'd say either a) explain that it's your business what you do and that only you know what's best for you or b) explain that while some things work for some people, it doesn't work for everyone. just because some people like ice cream, doesn't mean everyone in the world likes ice cream. what about the lactose intolerant people (who actually care about their intolerance and don't just bite the bullet and go anyway)? what about people who don't like sugar? they're still valid. obviously there's better analogies out there but this is one i just thought of off the top of my head.

and yeah, it's frustrating that some people will immediately assume there's something wrong with aspecs or that they (and i hate this) "just haven't met the right person yet".

Mobs are not intelligent enough to become full-fledged players or have any relationships with players.

Some mobs have their own trading and pack system, they are indeed smarter than other mobs, but still do not reach the player’s level.

Cub must grow up in natural conditions with adults who can take care of them. But there are always players who build zoos and other dregs. Sometimes the prohibition of zoos and personal possessions on wild mobs that are not created for taming is even specified by a separate server rule in the user agreement.

Taking mobs from their natural environment is harmful and irresponsible. There are players who even perceive them as their own children, which is completely wrong. This is condemned even by ordinary players, and even more so by admins. For this you can be kicked out of the server and get a lot of unpleasant consequences on other servers, from a ban on some high-level and personal servers to permanent death.

Cub, when ripped out of their habitat, experience terrible stress and may die. Some, like pets, imitate the player’s behavior in order to pass as one of their own and get rid of potential danger. What some people perceive as games is actually a way to get rid of stress, for example, the eternal desire to butt heads with piglins or zombie pigs. They try to relieve stress by obsessing over repetitive movements that they associate with safety.
